Trustpower has hit the ground running with minimal disruption to their operating services and final touches are underway for their new head office on Durham Street, Tauranga.

Over 500 desks, chairs and other workplace equipment and furnishings have been moved inside and Trustpower is almost fully operational in their new architecturally-designed, purpose-built three storey masterpiece.

Each of the building's three floors have a distinctive colour theme enhanced by utilising furniture items, desks and even glass to promote the different shades of colour. An atrium with interlinking stairs and bridges provides a wide open space for employees and visitors to enjoy. This open environment is a new concept where staff are not allocated desks. Rather, they can choose where to work from with a range of stand-up desks, comfy pods, break-out rooms in colourful shades of glass, and wooden ‘bleachers’.

An impressive double glazed façade adds a special dimension to this quality-built building.

All of the building's services have now been tested and commissioned, with the air-conditioning being a welcome relief to everyone working inside during the recent warm days!

The completion date remained unchanged since this project began 18 months ago and shows a great effort by the CBC Construction team, consultants and sub-contractors who have worked closely together to produce a truly spectacular space for Trustpower.
