CBC CONSTRUCTION – CAPABILITY WITH CARE

Since its inception in 2006, CBC Construction has become a highly-respected face within New Zealand’s commercial construction industry.

Major developments continue to encompass the retirement, education and healthcare sectors, as well as industrial and commercial facilities.

Equal care is devoted to every customer, whether they seek construction of a multi-storey premium apartment complex or need to fit-out the interior of a more modest retail space.

REPEAT CUSTOM

Our customers have good reason to trust us with their projects, then return to us again and again. CBC Construction completes projects on time and on budget, while meeting every required quality standard.

We are involved in all aspects of commercial construction beginning with financing, land identification, property negotiation and resource consent applications.

UNCOMMON CARE
Our Tauranga-based firm is an integral part of the Classic Group, which encompasses a residential building business, a land-development business and of course CBC Construction with its focus on commercial property.

While CBC Construction stands firmly on its own merits, it does enjoy access to the broader infrastructure and expertise within the wider Classic Group.

Naturally, CBC Construction built the company’s 700m2 purpose-built office space. Our proven systems and rigorous attention to detail have cemented a reputation for uncommon capability, from the earliest planning stages through to final finishing touches. So we deliver results with integrity. Every time.

WE COMPLETE PROJECTS ON TIME & ON BUDGET WHILE MEETING EVERY REQUIRED QUALITY STANDARD

We gladly provide documentation that demonstrates our approach to accident and injury reporting, training, hazard management and other health and safety issues.

AWARDS

JUDGES DEEM CBC A WINNING TEAM

WE AIM TO EXCEED CLIENT EXPECTATIONS ON EVERY PROJECT WE TACKLE

2015 TAURIKO BUSINESS DESIGN AWARDS

For the second year in a row, CBC Construction has been awarded the 2015 Tauriko Business Estate excellence in design awards. CBC’s winning building was purpose-built for SIMS Distributing. Judges praised the use of natural materiality – glass balustrades, polished concrete floors and stunning oak panelling. Leading visitors up the open stairwell to the offices gives the public spaces an understated classic feel; it was also noted that both office/showroom areas and the warehouse were well designed for efficiencies and to allow for flexibility and growth.

2014 TAURIKO BUSINESS DESIGN AWARDS

A CBC-built factory, showroom and office building took the inaugural Tauriko Business Design Awards in August 2014. The annual award winner must demonstrate excellence in industrial design and construction. Judges praised the Jenkins Freshpac’s flagship headquarters for its attention to detail, functionality and overall “feel good factor”.   CBC completed the high-tech label manufacturing company’s 1290m2 building in September 2013.

PROPERTY COUNCIL NEW ZEALAND ANNUAL NATIONAL AWARDS

CBC Construction collected an award of excellence in 2013 from the Property Council NZ for building the $30M ANZ Business Centre on the corner of Cameron Rd and Elizabeth St, Tauranga. The prestigious annual black-tie event was held in Auckland and attended by almost 5,000 people.  Only 18 excellence awards for “excellence within the property industry,” were handed out, CBC being one of them.

Submissions go through a rigorous judging process including a detailed review of the developments and site visits by the judging panel. Evaluation criteria included economic and financial factors, project vision and innovation (including degree of difficulty), design and construction, owner and user satisfaction, sustainability and efficiency of operation.
